Delen Private Bank continues its growth strategy in the Netherlands with a new acquisition in The Hague
- 20 july 2026
Antwerp, 20 July 2026 - Delen Private Bank has reached an agreement with the shareholders of Van Lawick & Co. to acquire 100% of the shares. This acquisition is part of Delen Private Bank's growth strategy in the Netherlands. The Bank aims to become an increasingly important player in the Dutch wealth management market.
Van Lawick & Co. is a wealth management firm based in The Hague, with more than €550 million in assets under management.
Delen Private Bank entered the Dutch market in 2016 with the acquisition of Oyens & Van Eeghen. This was followed by the acquisitions of Nobel Vermogensbeheer in 2019, Groenstate Vermogensbeheer in 2023, Puur Beleggen and Box Consultants in 2024 and Petram & Co. and Servatus Vermogensmanagement in 2025.
Michel Buysschaert, CEO Delen Private Bank: “With Van Lawick & Co., we welcome a wealth manager whose values and approach closely align with those of Delen Private Bank. In addition to sharing the same vision on discretionary wealth management, both organisations place great importance on personal guidance and thoughtful wealth planning for their clients. This combination of expertise, long-term thinking and client focus makes this partnership a natural fit. Through this acquisition, we further strengthen our presence in The Hague and welcome new clients from across the Netherlands. Together with our organic growth, this has helped increase our assets under management in the Netherlands to more than €5.5 billion. We continue to see opportunities for further growth and are steadily building a strong presence in the country’s key cities.”
The Van Lawick & Co. team will operate under the banner of Delen Private Bank but customers will retain the same point of contact.
Willem van Steenbergen, Partner at Van Lawick & Co.: “After nearly twenty years of entrepreneurship, we are convinced that Delen Private Bank is the ideal partner to carry the Van Lawick & Co. story forward. Since 2008, we have built a solid organisation with a strong focus on personalised service and long-term relationships with our clients. By joining Delen Private Bank, our clients and organisation will benefit from additional expertise, greater scale and new opportunities, while preserving the values that have been at the heart of our success. We see this as an outstanding opportunity to continue growing sustainably with a partner whose culture, vision and approach are so closely aligned with our own. Our entire team will remain on board.”
With the acquisition of Van Lawick & Co., Delen Private Bank realises its eight Dutch acquisition in ten years. The transaction is expected to be completed later the year, after the usual approval from the regulatory authorities.
